About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Part-time Event Promoter to build interest in upcoming events and help bring people through the door. You will talk to potential attendees, share event details and follow up with those who show interest. The role suits someone reliable who enjoys meeting people and can manage their time well alongside other commitments.
What you'll do
- Approach potential attendees, explain upcoming events clearly and answer their questions honestly.
- Hand out event information and collect contact details from interested people with their consent.
- Follow up with leads by phone or message to encourage them to register or attend.
- Represent the event courteously at promotional points, keeping materials tidy and visible.
- Report on conversations, leads gathered and common questions raised by the public.
- Arrive on time for every scheduled slot and keep the event team informed of availability.
What you'll bring
- 0–2 years of experience in field marketing, sales or customer handling; freshers are welcome to apply.
- A graduate or undergraduate qualification in any field of study.
- Friendly, clear communication with strangers from all backgrounds.
- Good time management and a dependable approach to scheduled commitments.
Good to have
- Relevant experience promoting events or supporting brand activations, which is preferred.
- Exposure to live entertainment events as an attendee, volunteer or crew member.
- Familiarity with sharing event updates on social media platforms.
