About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Partnership Development Manager in the events and consumer space. You will find, negotiate and grow partnerships that add value to events and consumer offerings, and guide the team that keeps them on track.
What you'll do
- Identify organisations whose goals fit well with planned events or consumer initiatives.
- Build partnership proposals that show clear, specific value for both sides.
- Negotiate partnership terms, deliverables and commercial arrangements to a close.
- Oversee delivery of partner commitments and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Develop the pitching, negotiation and partner servicing skills of partnership executives.
- Evaluate partnership results after each activation and use them to strengthen renewals.
- Feed partnership plans into the wider business plan so resources are ready in time.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years of experience in partnership development, sponsorship or business development.
- An MBA or PGDM, combined with hands-on commercial negotiation experience.
- A record of closing and renewing partnerships with measurable outcomes.
- Experience managing a team and holding it to delivery standards.
- Creative thinking about what a partnership can offer beyond visibility alone.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the Events / Consumer sector on the partnerships side.
- Exposure to sponsorship valuation and post-event reporting for partners.
- Familiarity with contracts covering deliverables, exclusivity and usage rights.
