About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Personal Shopper – Fashion to guide customers through the collection and help them leave with outfits they love. You will listen, suggest and style, building the kind of trust that brings shoppers back.
What you'll do
- Greet customers, understand the occasion they are dressing for and suggest pieces that suit their style.
- Pull together complete looks, including accessories, and explain the different ways each piece can be worn.
- Manage fitting-room sessions, bringing alternative sizes and colours without keeping customers waiting.
- Keep notes on returning customers' preferences so that future suggestions feel personal and well judged.
- Coordinate with stockroom colleagues to locate items quickly or arrange alterations where they are offered.
- Help keep the shop floor presentable so the pieces you recommend are easy to show.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in fashion retail, styling or customer service, and freshers with flair are welcome.
- A graduate degree or diploma in fashion, design, merchandising or a related field, preferably.
- Genuine interest in fashion and an eye for what flatters different shapes, colourings and tastes.
- Warm, attentive customer service and the confidence to approach people you have not met.
- Good coordination skills when handling several customers' requests during a busy day.
Good to have
- Familiarity with current trends across garments, fabrics and textile finishes.
- Exposure to visual presentation or styling work for shoots, windows or lookbooks.
- A personal styling portfolio or lookbook that shows how you put outfits together.
