About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Pre-Primary Teacher to give young children a happy, secure and stimulating start to school. You will plan playful, age-appropriate lessons, manage a caring classroom, and help every child build early skills and confidence.
What you'll do
- Plan daily lessons built around play, stories, songs and hands-on activities.
- Introduce early literacy, numeracy and motor skills in small, engaging steps.
- Create a calm, welcoming classroom with clear routines that young children can follow.
- Observe each child's progress and note developmental milestones and any concerns.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's day, progress and wellbeing.
- Prepare simple teaching aids, displays and activity materials for the classroom.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience teaching or caring for young children; freshers with suitable training are welcome.
- A graduate degree with a relevant subject qualification; a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is preferred where applicable.
- Patience, warmth and a genuine enjoyment of working with young children.
- Clear, gentle communication with young children and reassuring updates for parents.
- Sound classroom management skills suited to the early years.
Good to have
- Familiarity with play-based or activity-based early years methods.
- Exposure to early childhood education training or nursery teaching practice.
- Prior experience in the Education or Training sector.
