About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Primary Teacher – Hindi to help young learners read, write and express themselves well in Hindi. You will plan lively lessons, build strong foundations in the script and grammar, and encourage a love of Hindi stories and poems.
What you'll do
- Plan Hindi lessons covering the varnamala, matras, vocabulary, reading and writing.
- Help children form letters correctly and develop neat, accurate handwriting.
- Use stories, poems and recitation to build reading fluency and confidence.
- Teach age-appropriate grammar through examples and short practice exercises.
- Check notebooks and assessments, and give each child clear guidance on improving.
- Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom where children feel comfortable speaking up.
- Keep parents informed about progress and suggest ways to practise at home.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience teaching Hindi at primary level.
- A graduate degree with a relevant subject qualification in Hindi; a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is preferred where applicable.
- Strong command of Hindi grammar, spelling and literature for children.
- Effective lesson planning and classroom management for primary-age children.
- Warm, patient communication with children and constructive updates for parents.
Good to have
- Familiarity with activity-based methods for teaching a language.
- Exposure to organising recitation, storytelling or other Hindi language activities.
- Prior experience in the Education or Training sector.
