About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Recruitment Consultant to find, assess and place strong candidates for client roles. You will manage the recruitment cycle from sourcing to interview coordination, and the quality of your shortlists will directly shape client confidence.
What you'll do
- Understand client requirements and agree a clear candidate profile for each open role.
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, databases and direct approaches.
- Screen candidates by phone, assessing skills, motivation and suitability.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, managing schedules and feedback.
- Prepare candidate summaries that explain fit and any gaps honestly.
- Keep candidates engaged and informed through offer and joining.
What you'll bring
- 1–4 years of experience in recruitment, ideally on the agency or staffing side.
- A graduate degree in any discipline; relevant experience or demonstrated skills are preferred.
- Persuasive, honest communication with candidates and clients, including when news is unwelcome.
- The organisation to work several open roles at the same time without dropping any.
- Resilience when a candidate drops out late and a role has to be refilled quickly.
Good to have
- Exposure to recruiting for a particular function, level or industry.
- Familiarity with Boolean search techniques for finding passive candidates.
- Prior experience in the Recruitment / Staffing sector.
