About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Regional Retail Manager to run store operations and sales across an assigned region. You will drive sales routines, steer store teams through their managers, while holding every store to high service standards. The role answers for operating discipline as much as for sales.
What you'll do
- Run regional sales routines, including daily tracking with weekly store reviews.
- Steer store managers in the region, setting expectations while reviewing performance regularly.
- Audit standards such as stock accuracy, presentation or store compliance.
- Raise service quality by coaching teams on complaint handling.
- Use performance data to rank stores, share good practice, fix weak spots.
- Escalate regional risks or resource needs to senior leadership with clear proposals.
What you'll bring
- 9–14 years of experience in retail operations and sales management, including multi-store responsibility.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong team leadership, including performance management across several stores.
- Hands-on understanding of store operations as well as customer experience.
- Comfort working with sales or operating data every day.
Good to have
- Experience managing stores across varied market types within one region.
- Exposure to opening, then stabilising, new stores in a region.
