About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Relationship Manager – Banking to widen and hold on to a book of bank customers. How customers spread their banking depends heavily on the confidence you build.
What you'll do

- Match deposits, credit facilities and investment-linked options to the circumstances each profile reveals.
- Bring in new-to-bank customers via referrals, networking and introductions from branch colleagues.
- Take ownership of escalations and chase operations and product desks until the matter is settled.
- Watch account movements for signs that a customer is drifting away, and reach out early.
- Set your own acquisition and deepening plan against sales goals, then measure honestly how it went.
What you'll bring
- 3–7 years of experience in banking relationship management or financial product sales.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; in some assignments, relevant experience may be considered instead.
- Credibility when discussing money matters with customers from very different backgrounds.
- Evidence of acquiring and keeping customers against agreed relationship goals.
- Working knowledge of banking products and the suitability rules attached to selling them.
