About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Retail Area Manager – Beauty to oversee a cluster of beauty stores and help each one perform at its best. You will balance selling, merchandising and people development so customers get consistent advice and service wherever they shop.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily performance across your area's beauty stores, tracking sales, conversion and stock health.
- Visit stores to check merchandising, testers and product presentation against brand guidelines.
- Coach store managers and beauty advisors on consultation-led selling and attentive customer care.
- Plan staffing across stores to cover peak periods, product launches and promotions.
- Roll out new launches and promotional plans, making sure teams know the products well.
- Contribute to area business plans and follow through on agreed actions with store teams.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years in beauty or cosmetics retail, including responsibility for more than one store.
- A graduate degree, supported by hands-on experience of beauty retail operations.
- Strong understanding of beauty merchandising and how presentation drives sales.
- Experience motivating and developing store teams across different locations.
- Comfort working with sales reports to spot problems and opportunities early.
Good to have
- Knowledge of skincare, makeup and fragrance categories and how customers shop them.
- Exposure to beauty brand training programmes for advisors and store teams.
- Prior experience in the beauty and cosmetics retail sector.
