About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Retail Operations Intern to support the routines that keep fashion retail running well. This internship focuses on stock, store procedures and service standards, giving you a working understanding of how operations underpin customer engagement and sales.
What you'll do
- Assist with stock receiving, transfers and periodic counts, recording any discrepancies accurately.
- Help complete store opening and closing checklists and keep operational logs current.
- Track inventory levels for fast-moving items and flag replenishment needs early.
- Support visual, hygiene and safety standards on the shop floor through regular checks.
- Handle returns and exchange paperwork in line with store procedures.
- Prepare simple daily operations reports for store leadership to review.
What you'll bring
- Freshers are welcome; up to 0–1 year of experience in retail or operations helps.
- An undergraduate qualification, or graduation studies that are still ongoing.
- An organised, detail-oriented approach to stock counts and records.
- Clear communication with sales staff and customers on the shop floor.
- Readiness to help wherever the store needs support during busy periods.
Good to have
- Exposure to inventory or point-of-sale systems used in stores.
- Familiarity with basic retail measures such as sell-through and stock cover.
- Prior experience in the Luxury / Fashion / Retail sector.
