About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Retail Operations Manager – Fashion to keep stores running smoothly so teams can focus on customers. You will own processes, standards and stock flow, and improve them wherever they slow the business down.
What you'll do
- Set and monitor operating standards for opening, closing, cash handling and stock management.
- Track inventory accuracy, shrinkage and replenishment, and fix the causes of recurring gaps.
- Run regular store audits and follow up with managers on corrective actions.
- Plan staffing and rosters so service levels hold during peak trading and sale periods.
- Work with sales and clienteling leads so processes support customer engagement rather than slow it.
- Coordinate with logistics, maintenance and finance teams on operational issues in stores.
- Suggest process improvements and roll them out with clear communication to every store.
What you'll bring
- 4–8 years in retail operations, preferably in fashion or apparel retail.
- A graduate degree or an MBA, with a practical, process-minded approach.
- A strong grasp of inventory control, store processes and compliance requirements.
- An organised, detail-focused approach and comfort with operational reporting.
- Clear communication and the ability to influence store teams without friction.
Good to have
- Exposure to retail management or point-of-sale systems used in fashion stores.
- Experience supporting new store openings from an operations perspective.
- Prior experience running operations within the fashion retail sector.
