About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Retail Project Manager to deliver store projects on time, within budget and to standard. You will plan store fit-outs or refurbishments, manage vendors, while keeping timelines under control from design sign-off to handover. The role decides whether new and renovated stores open as planned.
What you'll do
- Plan store projects end to end, from layout approval through fit-out to handover.
- Select, brief then manage vendors or contractors for civil, interiors or fixtures work.
- Build project timelines, flagging delays early while agreeing recovery plans.
- Control project budgets, approving vendor bills against completed work.
- Inspect work quality against brand or design standards at key stages.
- Coordinate with operations, visual merchandising plus design teams before each store launch.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years of experience in retail projects, store fit-outs or interior project management.
- An MBA or a graduate degree is required for this role.
- Strong vendor management with firm, fair negotiation skills.
- Disciplined control of timelines as well as project budgets.
- The ability to direct project teams while coordinating many stakeholders.
Good to have
- Prior experience delivering fashion retail store projects from start to finish.
- Familiarity with reading store layouts or technical drawings.
