About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Retail Promoter to represent a brand inside stores and help shoppers understand its products. You will start conversations, explain features and note interested customers for follow-up. The role suits someone who is comfortable approaching people and stays positive on the shop floor.
What you'll do
- Greet shoppers near the brand's display and open friendly conversations about the products.
- Explain product features and uses simply, sticking to approved messages and materials.
- Demonstrate products where possible so customers can see them working in front of them.
- Capture contact details of interested shoppers as leads, following the consent rules you are given.
- Keep the brand display neat and stocked with leaflets, samples and price information.
- Share regular feedback on customer questions and objections with the brand team.
What you'll bring
- 0–2 years of experience in retail, brand promotion or customer engagement; freshers are welcome.
- A graduate degree in any discipline, completed or due to be completed soon.
- Clear communication and a warm, approachable manner with every kind of shopper.
- Willingness to learn product details quickly and explain them accurately and honestly.
Good to have
- Relevant experience or demonstrated skills in in-store brand work, which is preferred.
- Exposure to lead generation or simple selling conversations with walk-in customers.
- Familiarity with the product category you would be representing in stores.
