About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to help customers find the right products and complete their purchases smoothly. You will demonstrate products, suggest useful add-ons, then handle billing at the counter. It is a front-line role where friendly service turns visits into sales.
What you'll do
- Approach customers, ask what they need, then show them suitable products.
- Demonstrate how products work, answering every question honestly.
- Suggest complementary items that genuinely add value to the purchase.
- Process billing accurately, handling exchanges according to store policy.
- Keep shelves stocked, labelled, tidy throughout the day.
- Note customer requests for items that are out of stock.
- Learn the features of new products quickly so you can explain them confidently.
What you'll bring
- 0–2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service; freshers are welcome.
- A graduate degree in any discipline; relevant experience or demonstrated skills are preferred.
- A friendly, helpful attitude towards every customer who walks in.
- Basic numeracy with care for accurate billing at the counter.
- Steady attention to customers even during the busiest store hours.
Good to have
- Familiarity with billing or point-of-sale systems in a store.
- Experience demonstrating consumer products to walk-in customers at a counter.
