About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Returns & Refunds Executive to handle product returns and refunds fairly and quickly. You will process return requests, check returned items and make sure refunds reach customers without unnecessary delay.
What you'll do
- Review return and exchange requests against the returns policy, then approve them or flag exceptions.
- Arrange reverse pickups with courier partners and track returned shipments until they arrive.
- Inspect returned items against order and catalogue details for condition, completeness and correct product.
- Initiate refunds once checks are complete and confirm the status with customers.
- Investigate refund delays and disputes, and follow up with finance or support teams.
- Report on return reasons, volumes and pending refunds to help reduce avoidable returns.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in returns processing, customer service or e-commerce operations.
- A graduate degree in any discipline; good computer and communication skills are preferred.
- Fairness, patience and close attention to detail when judging returns.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and looking up order records quickly.
- Clear written communication with customers about refund status.
Good to have
- Exposure to reverse logistics and returns warehouse processes.
- Familiarity with refund reconciliation and handling chargeback or dispute cases.
- Prior experience in an online retail business with a busy returns desk.
