About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Admissions Counsellor to guide applicants through admission, from first enquiry to a confirmed place. You will advise applicants with care, manage the admission steps accurately, and keep momentum through timely follow-up.
What you'll do
- Respond to admission enquiries and advise applicants on eligibility, courses and timelines.
- Walk applicants through forms, documents and deadlines so that applications are complete.
- Use consultative selling to help applicants choose a course and commit to it.
- Follow up on incomplete applications and pending decisions without being pushy.
- Coordinate with academic and admissions colleagues on applicant queries and approvals.
- Track the admission pipeline and flag applicants who need extra attention.
What you'll bring
- 2–5 years of experience in admissions counselling or education sales.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; relevant experience may be considered for some assignments.
- Accuracy with documents, deadlines and applicant records at every stage.
- Clear, reassuring communication with applicants and parents during a stressful decision.
- Strong follow-up habits and relationship management with applicants and their families.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the Education & Student Services sector.
- Exposure to admission seasons with high enquiry volumes.
- Familiarity with entrance and eligibility criteria across different course types.
