About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Events Manager to shape event strategy for clients and oversee production quality across projects. You will manage client relationships, guide event teams and contribute to business planning. The role combines strategic input with close attention to how events are actually delivered.
What you'll do
- Shape event strategy with clients, clarifying objectives, audiences and the experience to deliver.
- Oversee production for multiple events, reviewing designs, plans and readiness before each show.
- Allocate projects across event managers and coordinators and support them through challenges.
- Manage key client relationships and keep clients informed of progress and decisions.
- Contribute to business planning, including resource needs, pricing input and priority accounts.
- Introduce better practices in planning, documentation and post-event reviews.
What you'll bring
- 8–12 years of experience in event management, including senior client-facing roles.
- A graduate degree or an MBA, with strong planning and commercial skills.
- Sound knowledge of event production and the vendor networks behind it.
- Experience heading event teams across several concurrent projects at once.
- Strategic thinking balanced with a practical sense of what can be delivered.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the events and experiential sector.
- Exposure to pitching for new work and writing persuasive proposals.
- Familiarity with event budgeting and margin control on client projects.
