About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Exhibition Manager to set the direction for exhibitions and deliver them smoothly for exhibitors and visitors. You will shape exhibition strategy, manage exhibitor relationships and guide the operations team. The role largely decides whether exhibitors choose to return the following year.
What you'll do
- Set exhibition strategy, including positioning, floor plan concept and visitor profile.
- Manage relationships with key exhibitors, understanding their goals and resolving concerns.
- Oversee exhibition operations, including build-up, stand allocation, contractors and breakdown.
- Coordinate the exhibition team with sales, marketing and operations colleagues.
- Prepare business plans, budgets and timelines for each exhibition.
- Analyse exhibitor and visitor feedback to improve layout, services and the overall offer.
What you'll bring
- 8–12 years of experience in exhibition management, trade shows or B2B events.
- A graduate degree or an MBA, with good commercial and operational judgement.
- Strong operational knowledge of exhibition halls, stand build and contractors.
- Experience managing exhibitor relationships and commercial discussions on space and services.
- Team leadership across sales, marketing and operations functions.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the exhibitions or trade show sector.
- Familiarity with exhibitor manuals and venue regulations for stand builds.
- Exposure to conference programmes and seminars run alongside exhibitions.
