About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Manager – Corporate Relations to lead relationships between an education institution and the corporate world. You will set the direction for corporate engagement, build strategic partnerships, and work with senior stakeholders on both sides to create lasting value for students.
What you'll do
- Define the corporate relations strategy, including target sectors and partnership models.
- Build strategic relationships with senior corporate leaders for placements, projects and collaboration.
- Lead and develop the corporate relations team, building capability in outreach and account management.
- Negotiate institutional partnerships and agreements with corporate partners.
- Work with academic leadership to align corporate engagement with programme priorities.
- Report on partnership outcomes and recommend where to invest further effort.
What you'll bring
- 8–12 years of experience in corporate relations, institutional partnerships or business development.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong stakeholder management with senior corporate and academic leaders.
- Proven team leadership, including developing people and setting clear expectations.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with corporate decision-makers.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the Education / Corporate Relations sector.
- Exposure to running industry advisory panels or corporate events.
- Familiarity with student placement and internship programmes run with employers.
