About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Manager – Franchise Operations to lead how franchise partners run their retail and quick-service outlets. You will set operating standards, support partners through business reviews and guide a team that keeps outlets consistent. The role matters because every partner outlet carries the same promise to customers.
What you'll do
- Define franchise operating standards for service, hygiene, product and customer experience, and check that partners follow them.
- Manage relationships with franchise partners, holding regular business reviews and resolving operational concerns together.
- Lead and coach the franchise operations team, setting priorities and reviewing outcomes across the partner base.
- Build annual business plans with partners covering sales, costs, staffing and outlet improvements.
- Audit outlet performance and compliance, and agree corrective action plans wherever standards slip.
- Support new partners through onboarding, from operational training to their first months of trading.
- Present franchise performance insights to senior leadership and recommend changes to the operating model.
What you'll bring
- 8–12 years of experience in franchise operations, multi-outlet retail or QSR management.
- An MBA or PGDM, applied to partner-led or multi-outlet businesses.
- Proven partner and client management skills, including handling difficult commercial conversations.
- Strong business planning ability, with comfort reading outlet-level profit and loss statements.
- Experience heading operations teams and developing the people within them.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the retail or QSR sector.
- Exposure to franchise agreements, partner obligations and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards for quick-service outlets.
