About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Manager – Public Relations to drive PR planning and make sure stories reach the audiences that matter. You will balance strategy with hands-on oversight, and build a team that earns trust with media and stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Develop PR strategies tied to marketing goals, choosing the stories, spokespeople and outlets that fit each objective.
- Oversee PR campaigns from concept to coverage, managing timelines, approvals and risks.
- Coach the PR team on pitching, writing and media handling, lifting the quality of their work.
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders on reputation, announcements and sensitive issues.
- Analyse coverage quality and share-of-voice data, presenting insights that sharpen future campaigns.
- Build lasting relationships with senior journalists and editors.
What you'll bring
- 8–13 years of experience in public relations, with responsibility for campaigns and teams.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong PR planning and campaign management skills, from strategy through to measurement.
- Confidence counselling senior stakeholders on reputation matters and difficult decisions.
- Experience managing and developing a PR team, including regular feedback and coaching.
Good to have
- Exposure to crisis communication and issues management at an organisational level.
- Familiarity with PR measurement frameworks and analytics beyond simple coverage counts.
- Experience on both the agency and in-house sides of PR.
