About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Manager – Store Performance to lead how store productivity is measured and improved. You will use analytics to find what separates strong stores from weaker ones, then work with operations leaders to close the gap. The insight from this role guides where effort and investment go.
What you'll do
- Define store productivity measures such as sales per square foot, conversion and staff productivity.
- Build analytics that compare stores and highlight the drivers behind strong and weak performance.
- Lead the store performance team, setting the review calendar and the quality of insight it produces.
- Run performance reviews with operations leaders and agree improvement actions store by store.
- Feed productivity insights into business planning for staffing, layouts and store investments.
- Track the impact of improvement initiatives and stop those that do not deliver results.
What you'll bring
- 8–12 years of experience in retail operations, store performance or retail analytics.
- An MBA or PGDM, with strong quantitative and commercial reasoning.
- Strong analytical skills, with confidence turning store data into clear operational actions.
- Experience managing analysts and influencing senior operations stakeholders.
- Sound business planning ability across budgets and forecasts.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the retail sector across different store formats.
- Exposure to labour scheduling models and footfall-to-conversion analysis.
- Familiarity with building dashboards and clear data visualisation for leadership.
