About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Manager – Training Business to lead the growth of a training business through strong client relationships and new business. You will own key accounts, guide the business development team, and work with senior stakeholders to shape revenue plans.
What you'll do
- Set the business development direction for training services, including priority segments and offerings.
- Manage key accounts personally, understanding each client's learning and development needs.
- Develop the business development team, setting expectations and coaching for results.
- Shape training proposals with delivery colleagues so that solutions match client needs.
- Track revenue growth and pipeline health, and take early action when results slip.
- Engage senior client stakeholders to build long-term relationships spanning several programmes.
What you'll bring
- 8–12 years of experience in business development or key account management for training or consulting services.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills with senior client contacts.
- A strong record of revenue growth through account development.
- Commercial judgement in pricing and negotiating training engagements.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the Training & Consulting sector at a senior level.
- Exposure to selling to corporate learning and development buyers.
- Familiarity with structuring training contracts that cover several programmes.
