About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Sponsorship Manager to set sponsorship strategy for events and entertainment properties and build lasting brand partnerships around them. You will decide which brands to approach and how to package opportunities, and guide the team that sells and services them. The role is central to the commercial success of each property.
What you'll do
- Set sponsorship strategy, defining categories, packages and the brands worth approaching.
- Design rights packages that give partners real visibility and audience engagement.
- Hold senior conversations with brand and agency decision-makers through to signed agreements.
- Guide the sponsorship team on prospecting, proposals and servicing standards.
- Build business plans and revenue forecasts for sponsorship across the event portfolio.
- Review partner outcomes after events and use them to strengthen renewal proposals.
What you'll bring
- 8–12 years of experience in sponsorship, partnerships or media sales within events or entertainment.
- An MBA or PGDM, with strong commercial and marketing knowledge.
- A strong network among brands and agencies, or proven skill in building one.
- Strategic packaging and negotiation skills for high-value deals.
- Experience heading commercial teams and setting their priorities.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the events or entertainment sector.
- Familiarity with sponsorship valuation methods and audience data.
- Exposure to sports or music properties and their partner ecosystems.
