About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Travel Consultant to plan and book trips for clients, handle the more complex itineraries and support newer consultants. You will combine sound travel knowledge with careful client handling and steady follow-up.
What you'll do
- Understand each client's travel purpose, budget and preferences before suggesting any options.
- Build multi-stop itineraries that combine flights, hotels and ground arrangements sensibly.
- Negotiate with suppliers for better availability or terms on behalf of your clients.
- Handle changes, cancellations and disruptions, keeping clients informed at every step.
- Follow up after each trip to gather feedback and start planning the client's next journey.
- Guide junior consultants on booking accuracy and the tone of client communication.
What you'll bring
- 2–5 years of experience as a travel consultant or in travel customer service.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; relevant experience may be considered for some assignments.
- Solid knowledge of booking processes, fare conditions and supplier policies.
- Patient, clear client handling, especially when plans change at short notice.
- Good negotiation and coordination skills when working with travel suppliers.
Good to have
- Exposure to arranging corporate or group travel for several travellers at once.
- Familiarity with global distribution or online booking systems.
- Prior experience in the hospitality, travel or events sector.
