About the role

One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Visual Merchandising Manager to set the VM strategy for luxury and fashion stores. You will decide how collections are presented, lead VM for store openings and build a team that executes with precision. Visual presentation is central to how luxury is experienced in a store.

What you'll do

  • Define the VM strategy for each collection, translating creative direction into store-ready presentation plans.
  • Lead visual merchandising for store openings, from fixture plans and props to the opening-day setup.
  • Build and mentor a VM team, setting execution standards and reviewing their work in stores.
  • Develop VM manuals and seasonal guides that store teams can follow without ambiguity.
  • Plan VM budgets and prop sourcing with business planning and finance colleagues.
  • Partner with senior merchandising, marketing and retail stakeholders on launches and key brand moments.

What you'll bring

  • 8–12 years of experience in visual merchandising for luxury or fashion retail, including team leadership.
  • A graduate degree or a qualification in design.
  • Proven experience heading VM for new store openings, from fixture plan to launch day.
  • A refined aesthetic sense and a strong grasp of luxury presentation.
  • Ability to plan and manage VM resources across several stores.

Good to have

  • Experience gained inside a luxury fashion house or with its retail partners.
  • Familiarity with fixture design and working with fabrication partners.
  • Exposure to adapting central brand guidelines for individual store formats.
