About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Skincare Consultant to help customers understand their skin and choose products that genuinely suit them. Through honest consultations and clear demonstrations, you will build trust that turns first-time buyers into loyal customers.
What you'll do
- Hold personal skincare consultations, asking about skin type, concerns and current routines.
- Recommend suitable products and explain how to use them in a simple daily routine.
- Demonstrate products on skin, showing texture, application and realistic results.
- Suggest complementary products where they genuinely help, without overselling to customers.
- Keep testers clean, counters well stocked and product information up to date.
- Follow up with returning customers and record their preferences and purchases.
What you'll bring
- 1–4 years of experience in skincare, beauty advisory or cosmetics retail.
- A graduate degree, diploma or relevant certification, with beauty or skincare exposure preferred.
- Sound skincare knowledge, including key ingredients and common skin concerns.
- Warm customer service and confident product demonstration skills.
- Comfort with upselling in a way that respects each customer's needs.
Good to have
- A certification in cosmetology, aesthetics or a related beauty discipline.
- Familiarity with dermatological or clinical skincare ranges and their uses.
- Prior experience in the beauty and personal care sector at a skincare counter.
