About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Store Operations Manager – Beauty to run the operational side of beauty retail with care and precision. You will own staffing, inventory and store processes so teams can concentrate on consultation and service.
What you'll do
- Plan staffing levels and rosters across beauty stores, matching coverage to footfall and launches.
- Control inventory, including shade ranges, testers, expiry dates and returns of damaged products.
- Set and audit store operating procedures for hygiene, product handling and stockrooms.
- Manage the operations team and support store managers in solving recurring operational problems.
- Coordinate with supply chain on deliveries, replenishment and stock allocations for launches.
- Contribute operational budgets and cost controls to the annual business plan.
- Track operational KPIs such as stock accuracy and staffing efficiency, and drive improvements.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years in retail operations, with experience in beauty or cosmetics stores.
- A graduate degree, supported by strong practical operations experience.
- Strong inventory management knowledge, especially for products with limited shelf lives.
- Experience planning store staffing and managing operations teams day to day.
- An organised, process-driven approach with good reporting skills.
Good to have
- Familiarity with hygiene and safety standards for cosmetic products.
- Exposure to operations across several beauty stores at once.
- Prior experience in the beauty and cosmetics sector.
