About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Store Sales Associate to help shoppers find what they need and complete their purchase smoothly. You will assist customers, demonstrate products and manage billing at the counter. Friendly, accurate service from this role shapes how shoppers remember the store.
What you'll do
- Approach shoppers politely and ask simple questions to understand what they want to buy.
- Show how products work and point out the differences between similar options on the shelf.
- Recommend matching items or accessories when they add real value to the purchase.
- Complete billing at the counter carefully and hand customers the correct receipts and change.
- Restock shelves, fold and arrange merchandise, and keep your area clean during the day.
- Learn product details and new arrivals so your advice to shoppers stays accurate.
What you'll bring
- 0–2 years of experience in retail or customer service; freshers are welcome to apply.
- A graduate degree in any discipline, with relevant experience or demonstrated skills preferred.
- A polite, helpful manner with every kind of customer who walks in.
- Basic numeracy and care with money for accurate billing.
- Readiness to learn products and simple selling techniques quickly.
Good to have
- Any earlier retail work, including seasonal or short-term assignments.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale billing screens and barcode scanning.
- Exposure to product demonstration or upselling in a store.
