About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Travel Consultant to help clients plan trips and make the bookings that bring those plans together. You will learn to build clear itineraries, make reservations accurately and look after clients until they are safely home.
What you'll do
- Discuss travel dates, interests and budgets with clients to understand what they want from a trip.
- Suggest suitable options and prepare simple itineraries with timings and booking details.
- Make flight, hotel and activity reservations and send confirmations promptly.
- Check the travel documents each booking requires and remind clients in good time.
- Respond to enquiries and changes by phone, email and chat with patience.
- Keep booking records complete so that colleagues can help if the client calls while you are away.
What you'll bring
- 0–4 years of experience in travel planning, reservations or customer service; freshers may apply.
- A graduate degree or diploma in travel and tourism, hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in destinations and close attention to detail when booking.
- Clear and friendly communication with clients of all kinds.
- Willingness to learn booking systems and how different suppliers work.
Good to have
- Familiarity with airline or hotel booking platforms used by travel agencies.
- Exposure to planning holiday packages for families or groups.
- Prior experience in the travel and tourism sector.
