About the role
HappinessCue is hiring a Client Success Manager to own how students, parents and working professionals experience its academic and career services. You will decide how each enquiry is welcomed, matched with a suitable independent expert and followed up, and keep raising the standard of that journey over time.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end client journey for academic and career services, from first enquiry to post-session follow-up.
- Design and refine the process for matching students, parents and professionals with suitable independent experts.
- Review client feedback and service data regularly to spot recurring problems and fix their root causes.
- Set follow-up standards and check that every client hears back promptly after a booking or session.
- Resolve escalations raised by parents or professionals calmly, bringing in the relevant expert or internal team.
- Partner with content and community colleagues so useful resources reach people between appointments.
- Report client experience trends to stakeholders and propose practical improvements to the service.
What you'll bring
- 3–7 years of experience in client success, account management or service delivery in a client-facing setting.
- A degree at graduate or postgraduate level in a relevant subject, or relevant experience for some assignments.
- Proven ability to handle demanding stakeholders, including parents, with tact and clear communication.
- Strong ownership of processes, with the habit of measuring what works and improving what does not.
- Comfort coordinating across experts, content colleagues and community colleagues to deliver a consistent experience.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the education, career services or professional development sector.
- Familiarity with documenting client journeys and service playbooks for others to follow.
- Exposure to working with independent professionals or consultants rather than employed staff.
