About the role

HappinessCue is inviting independent clinical psychologists and psychiatrists to join its expert network. People book sessions with registered mental-health professionals on HappinessCue, and the HappinessCue team reviews applications made on CareerBricks before inviting suitable professionals to register on HappinessCue. This is an independent engagement, not employment.

What you'll do

  • As a clinical psychologist, offer psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy to people who book you.
  • As a psychiatrist, provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment within your medical registration and practice.
  • Agree a plan of care with each person and review it across follow-up sessions.
  • Maintain confidential, accurate clinical records in line with professional and legal requirements.
  • Assess risk carefully and arrange urgent or emergency care when a situation calls for it.
  • Work within the ethical code of your profession and the limits of what a booked session can offer.

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrable experience in clinical practice as a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist.
  • For clinical psychologists, current RCI registration as a clinical psychologist.
  • For psychiatrists, a medical qualification in psychiatry and current registration with a medical council.
  • Professional registration is verified before onboarding. Engagement terms are shared during onboarding.
  • A strong grounding in ethics, informed consent, confidentiality and risk management.

Good to have

  • Experience with specific concerns such as anxiety, mood, trauma or addiction.
  • Experience in hospital, community or multidisciplinary mental-health settings.
  • Experience of working alongside other mental-health professionals and referring people on when needed.
