People looking for emotional and personal well-being support book sessions on HappinessCue with qualified professionals, and the HappinessCue team reviews applications received through CareerBricks before inviting suitable practitioners to register on HappinessCue. This is an independent engagement, not employment.
What you'll do
- Provide counselling sessions to people who book you, within the scope of your training and professional practice.
- Begin with an initial conversation to understand each person's concerns, goals and circumstances.
- Apply recognised counselling approaches suited to each person's concerns and to your own training.
- Agree goals with clients and review progress with them across a series of sessions.
- Keep accurate, confidential session records in line with your professional and ethical obligations.
- Assess risk and refer people to psychiatric, medical or emergency services when a situation requires it.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrable experience as a counselling psychologist or professional counsellor working with individuals.
- Recognised qualifications in psychology or counselling, which are verified along with any registration you hold.
- Professional registration is verified before onboarding.
- Sound ethical practice, including confidentiality, informed consent and clear professional boundaries.
- Familiarity with risk assessment, safety planning and referral procedures.
- Willingness to complete onboarding with HappinessCue. Engagement terms are shared during onboarding.
Good to have
- Experience with particular groups such as students, young adults or working professionals.
- Regular clinical supervision or peer consultation as part of your practice.
- Prior experience in the healthcare and pharma sector or in a counselling centre.
