About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Healthcare Business Development Executive to open and nurture new relationships in the healthcare space. You will reach out to prospective partners such as clinics and hospitals, follow up consistently and support deals through to agreement. Your groundwork creates the opportunities the business depends on.
What you'll do
- Identify and reach out to clinics, hospitals and practitioners who could become partners.
- Present the offering clearly to doctors, administrators and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Follow up on meetings with the information and materials stakeholders requested.
- Maintain relationships with existing partners and gather feedback on their experience.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support the onboarding of new partners.
- Track leads, meetings and outcomes accurately and review progress against goals.
What you'll bring
- 0–4 years of experience in business development, sales or healthcare-facing roles.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; relevant experience may be considered for some assignments.
- Confident, respectful communication with doctors and healthcare administrators alike.
- Persistence and organisation in following up after every meeting.
- Good relationship-building skills with busy professional stakeholders who value brevity.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the healthcare or insurance sector in an outreach role.
- Familiarity with how hospitals and clinics make purchasing decisions.
- Exposure to stakeholder mapping as part of institutional sales work.
