About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Medical Reception Executive to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will manage arrivals, the waiting list, phone bookings and patient files so consultations start on time. A calm, organised reception helps patients feel cared for from the moment they walk in.
What you'll do
- Check in arriving patients and confirm the details of their appointment.
- Manage the waiting list fairly and tell patients honestly about expected delays.
- Answer the reception phone, take messages and book or move appointments.
- Prepare patient files and make sure forms are complete before consultations begin.
- Respond to routine questions about services, doctors and visiting arrangements.
- Keep reception registers accurate and patient information confidential.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in medical or general reception; freshers may apply.
- A graduate degree and a friendly, professional presence.
- Clear speech and a gentle, patient approach with people who are unwell.
- Good organisation and accurate record-keeping throughout a busy day.
- Firm respect for patient privacy in conversation and in records.
Good to have
- Exposure to healthcare administration or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with basic medical terms used at a clinic reception.
- Prior reception experience in a hospital, clinic or diagnostic setting.
