About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Performance Marketing Manager to drive efficient customer acquisition for its direct-to-consumer business. You will own paid media and be accountable for return on ad spend, acquisition cost and conversion across the funnel. Every amount you put into media has to show a measurable return.
What you'll do
- Own media strategy and spend across the digital channels that bring in new customers.
- Manage ROAS and CAC by channel, moving budget towards whatever returns most.
- Work with website and product teams to improve conversion from first click to order.
- Design structured tests on audiences, creatives and landing pages, and scale the winners.
- Build the performance marketing plan and forecast for the business year.
- Direct performance specialists and agency partners, reviewing their optimisation work.
What you'll bring
- 5–8 years of experience in performance marketing for e-commerce or D2C brands.
- A graduate degree or an MBA, with a strongly numerical outlook on marketing.
- Deep working knowledge of media buying, bidding and measurement on digital platforms.
- Fluency with ROAS, CAC and conversion metrics, and the habits to act on them.
- Experience managing a team and an advertising budget with clear accountability.
Good to have
- Exposure to marketplace advertising alongside a brand's own website.
- Familiarity with retention channels that improve repeat purchase after acquisition.
- Prior experience in the e-commerce or D2C sector at a scaling stage.
