About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Pharmacy Operations Executive to keep the pharmacy running smoothly for the patients it serves. You will coordinate patient requests, handle appointments and keep records accurate, so that people get what they need without confusion or delay.
What you'll do
- Welcome patients and caregivers at the pharmacy and help them with prescriptions, queries and collection arrangements.
- Coordinate with clinical staff and the dispensing team so that patient requests are handled in the right order.
- Schedule and confirm appointments linked to the pharmacy, and let patients know promptly about any changes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, prescriptions received and requests awaiting follow-up.
- Respond to complaints calmly and pass clinical questions to a qualified pharmacist without delay.
- Follow up with patients on pending refills, documents or open requests until each one is closed.
What you'll bring
- 1–4 years of experience in a pharmacy, hospital front desk, patient services or customer service role.
- A graduate degree; exposure to healthcare administration, hospital operations or customer service is preferred.
- A patient, courteous manner with people who may be unwell, anxious or short of time.
- Careful documentation habits and attention to detail when recording patient and prescription information.
- Clear spoken and written communication with patients, colleagues and clinicians.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the healthcare sector, ideally in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
- Familiarity with common medicine names and everyday pharmacy workflows.
- Exposure to appointment scheduling or patient management systems.
