About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Real Estate Business Development Manager to decide where new property business should come from and then go and secure it. Much of the work is strategic choice: which buyer segments, corporates and intermediaries deserve attention, and on what terms. The pipeline you shape now will carry the business for quarters to come.
What you'll do
- Assess segments, intermediaries and corporate accounts, and choose where business development effort should concentrate.
- Turn that choice into a written plan with milestones that sales, marketing and legal can all follow.
- Open doors with corporates, channel partners and referral networks, then keep those relationships warm.
- Structure larger proposals and carry the negotiation through to signed terms.
- Hand converted opportunities across to execution teams with full context so nothing is lost.
- Brief senior management on pipeline health, conversion and where the plan needs revising.
What you'll bring
- 3–7 years of experience in real estate business development or property sales.
- A graduate or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline; some assignments may accept relevant experience in its place.
- A history of negotiating property deals of meaningful value to a successful close.
- The ability to build a professional network deliberately and keep it active over years.
- Planning discipline that keeps a many-stage pipeline visible and moving.
Good to have
- Background in corporate or institutional property transactions within the real estate sector.
- Familiarity with the commercial terms used across property sales and leasing.
- Exposure to market research that informs which segments to pursue next.
