About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Retail Operations Manager – Luxury to design and uphold the operating backbone behind luxury retail. Where every detail is noticed, you will make sure SOPs, inventory and store routines support an effortless client experience.
What you'll do
- Write, refine and enforce SOPs covering high-value stock handling, security, service rituals and housekeeping.
- Own inventory integrity, from receiving and cycle counts to transfers between locations.
- Lead the operations team and build their capability through clear standards and regular reviews.
- Partner with store leadership to remove operational friction that affects how clients are served.
- Plan operational budgets and cost controls as part of the annual business plan.
- Investigate discrepancies and incidents thoroughly, then put preventive controls in place.
- Support client management by tracking repairs, alterations and special orders through to completion.
What you'll bring
- 7–11 years in retail operations, with significant time in luxury or premium environments.
- A graduate degree or an MBA, along with strong operational leadership experience.
- Proven experience writing SOPs and implementing them across retail operations.
- Strong inventory control knowledge, especially for high-value merchandise.
- Leadership experience and the confidence to work with senior store and business stakeholders.
Good to have
- Familiarity with loss prevention practices designed for luxury goods.
- Exposure to after-sales and repair service processes for luxury products.
- Prior experience in the luxury retail sector, where control standards are exacting.
