About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Hotel Operations Manager to direct operations across multiple hotel departments and take shared accountability for the hotel's P&L. You will set operational direction, build leadership capability and work closely with senior leadership.
What you'll do
- Oversee all operating departments, setting shared goals so rooms, food and beverage and support teams work as one.
- Manage operating budgets and cost lines, contributing directly to the hotel's P&L.
- Set operating standards and run regular reviews of service quality, safety and compliance.
- Develop department heads through coaching, performance reviews and succession planning.
- Direct cross-department responses to high-impact guest issues and operational disruptions.
- Shape the operations plan within the annual business plan and track delivery through the year.
What you'll bring
- 10–14 years of experience in hotel operations, including senior responsibility for multiple departments.
- A qualification in hotel management or an MBA.
- Proven contribution to a hotel P&L, including budgeting and cost control.
- The authority and experience to guide senior department heads and hold them accountable.
- Clear, steady judgement when operational crises affect guests and teams at once.
Good to have
- Experience deputising for a hotel general manager over extended periods.
- Exposure to pre-opening, rebranding or renovation projects in hotels.
- Prior experience in the hotels sector at a complex, multi-outlet property.
