About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Manager – Hospital Business Development to lead revenue growth through hospital and institutional accounts. You will set the business development direction for your territory, guide the team that delivers it and build trusted relationships with senior hospital stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Shape the business development plan for hospitals and healthcare institutions across your territory and accounts.
- Build and deepen relationships with hospital leadership, procurement heads and senior clinical decision makers.
- Lead, coach and review the business development team so that account plans turn into results.
- Identify new hospital accounts and partnerships, and take the most significant opportunities to closure yourself.
- Track revenue, pipeline and account health closely, and step in early where performance is slipping.
- Work with internal leadership on commercial terms and service commitments for important hospital accounts.
What you'll bring
- 8–13 years of experience in healthcare business development, with substantial work on hospital or institutional accounts.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- A proven record of team leadership and of growing revenue through territory and account management.
- Credibility with senior hospital stakeholders and the ability to negotiate confidently at that level.
- Sound judgement in planning, forecasting and allocating effort across a portfolio of accounts.
Good to have
- Established relationships with hospital groups or healthcare institutions within your territory.
- Exposure to institutional sales processes and formal procurement cycles in the healthcare sector.
- Experience building a business development function or team from an early stage.
