About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Senior Manager – Pharma Sales to lead sales performance across a pharmaceutical territory. You will guide field teams, oversee key accounts and work with senior stakeholders to turn sales plans into sustained revenue growth.
What you'll do
- Translate the sales plan into clear territory objectives for area managers and field representatives.
- Lead regular reviews of team coverage, call quality and results, and coach people wherever gaps appear.
- Own relationships with key accounts such as large distributors, hospitals and influential prescribers.
- Spot new business opportunities across the territory and direct the team's effort towards the strongest ones.
- Engage marketing, medical and supply colleagues so field activity is backed by stock and approved messaging.
- Analyse sales trends and market feedback, and recommend changes in approach to senior leadership.
What you'll bring
- 8–13 years of experience in pharma sales, including several years spent managing field sales teams.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- A track record of revenue growth through disciplined territory and account management.
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders, both within the organisation and among trade and medical partners.
- Strong coaching skills and the ability to hold teams to consistent standards of conduct and performance.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the pharma sector across more than one therapy area.
- Familiarity with distributor and stockist management in a competitive market.
- Exposure to introducing new products into an established sales territory.
