About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Freelance Social Media Manager to plan, create and manage social media content on a freelance basis. You will work independently, agree deliverables with the client and deliver them reliably.
What you'll do
- Agree content plans and deliverables with the client at the start of each cycle.
- Create and schedule social media posts that match the brand's voice and goals.
- Coordinate with the client on approvals, feedback and changes.
- Manage your own time to meet deadlines across all agreed deliverables.
- Monitor engagement and share short reports on what worked and why.
- Suggest content ideas based on trends and audience response.
What you'll bring
- 1–5 years of experience managing social media for brands or clients.
- A relevant portfolio or demonstrated experience is preferred, and a formal qualification is not mandatory.
- Strong self-management and dependable time management when working without close supervision.
- Clear and professional communication in writing and on calls.
- The ability to handle client coordination independently and calmly.
Good to have
- Experience managing social media for more than one client at a time.
- Basic design or video editing skills for creating your own assets.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and audience insights.
