About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Fashion & Beauty Writer to cover trends, products and people across fashion and beauty for digital readers. You will research, interview and write with both style and accuracy. Readers come for inspiration and stay because they trust what you tell them.
What you'll do
- Write trend reports, product round-ups and features on fashion and beauty.
- Research products, ingredients and designers before writing about them.
- Interview stylists, designers, makeup artists and experts for quotes and insight.
- Fact-check product claims, names and credits before publishing.
- Prepare stories for digital publishing with images, captions and links.
- Track launches and shows to pitch timely story ideas to editors.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in writing, ideally about fashion, beauty or lifestyle.
- A graduate degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies or a related discipline.
- A strong eye for trends and an engaging writing voice.
- Careful research and fact-checking habits, especially on product claims.
- The ability to meet publishing deadlines consistently, week after week.
Good to have
- Exposure to product testing or reviews written from first-hand use.
- Familiarity with fashion week and beauty launch calendars.
- A portfolio of fashion or beauty writing you can share.
