About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Travel & Hospitality Writer to write about destinations, stays and experiences in ways readers can trust. You will combine careful research with vivid writing for digital audiences.
What you'll do
- Research destinations, hotels, restaurants and experiences thoroughly before writing about them.
- Write guides, features and reviews that pair practical detail with an engaging voice.
- Interview hoteliers, chefs, guides and travellers to add first-hand perspectives.
- Fact-check details such as names, opening periods and prices before submission.
- Prepare stories for digital publishing with headlines, subheadings and suggested images.
- Revisit published guides regularly and update information that has changed.
What you'll bring
- 1–4 years of experience writing about travel, hospitality, food or lifestyle subjects.
- A graduate degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies or a related discipline.
- Vivid, accurate writing that balances inspiration with useful information.
- Strong research and interviewing skills, including with busy hospitality professionals.
- A commitment to fair, honest reviewing and clear disclosure.
Good to have
- A portfolio of published travel or hospitality writing.
- Prior experience in the travel and tourism sector.
- An interest in photography that could complement your written pieces.
