About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Finance Operations Associate to support the daily processes that keep finance running, from invoicing to reconciliations and documentation. You will carry out these steps reliably, learn how each one connects to the next, and help spot where they can be tightened.
What you'll do
- Process invoices and expense claims in line with the documented finance procedures.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across bank, vendor and customer accounts.
- Update finance trackers in Excel and flag unusual or unexplained items for review.
- Collect and verify the supporting documents required for each transaction.
- Coordinate with business teams to obtain pending approvals and missing details.
- Support the month-end close by preparing schedules and completing the closing checklist.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in finance operations, accounting or a related back-office role.
- A B.Com, M.Com or MBA in Finance, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.
- Good Excel skills for reconciliations, trackers and transaction lists.
- Accuracy and a process-driven mindset when handling repetitive, high-volume work.
- Willingness to ask questions when a transaction does not look right.
Good to have
- Exposure to finance processes run on a shared-services model.
- Familiarity with internal controls, approval limits and maker-checker workflows.
- Prior experience in the Accounting / Finance sector within a transaction-processing function.
